Cancers we Support
We support all Cancers, but focus our fundraising efforts 75% on male types of Cancers, including;
Prostate Cancer
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK, with over 40,000 new cases diagnosed every year. Prostate cancer usually develops slowly, so there may be no signs you have it for many years. Symptoms often only become apparent when your prostate is large enough to affect the urethra (the tube that carries urine from the bladder to the penis).
Penile Cancer
Penile cancer is a rare type of cancer that occurs on the skin of the penis or within the penis. It most commonly affects men over the age of 50. There are several types of penile cancer, depending on the type of cell cancer developed from. Types include; squamous cell penile cancer, carcinoma in situ (CIS), adenocarcinoma and melanoma of the penis.
Testicular Cancer
Cancer of the testicle is one of the less common cancers and tends to mostly affect men between 15 and 49 years of age. Typical symptoms are a painless swelling or lump in one of the testicles, or any change in shape or texture of the testicles. It’s important to be aware of what feels normal for you. Get to know your body and see your GP if you notice any changes.
